The temptation of enjoying homemade waffles with my family on this sunny Memorial Day morning won out against the temptation of going to the yoga studio.
But a couple hours after a delicious breakfast of vegan banana walnut waffles I went out back to make up for what I missed out on.
86 degrees outside with 55% humidity.
Not exactly hot enough for Bikram yoga, but better than nothing!
With my ez-up tent to shield me from the sun,
and my reflection in the French doors to help me with my alignment,
I was set.

Backbending
Working my way to full camel
I touched my toes back there for the first time today!!
Seeing pictures of myself in these postures shows me how far I've come
and also what I need to keep working on.
Yoga is like life...it's all a work in progress.
